Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt Performs Umrah, Seeks Forgiveness at Holy Kaaba

ISLAMABAD: Embattled Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt performed Umrah and sought divine forgiveness in the sacred courtyard of the Holy Kaaba, passionately clarifying his stance while invoking Allah as his ultimate witness.

Dressed in Ihram and standing in the Mataf area of Masjid al-Haram, Butt recorded a heartfelt video, which he later shared across social media platforms.

Beginning his statement with the recitation of Durood and the Kalma, he affirmed his unwavering devotion to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), declaring that his wealth, life, family, and even his very existence are dedicated to the Holy Prophet.

Addressing the firestorm of controversy surrounding him on social media, Butt solemnly swore in the holiest Islamic sanctuary that his actions were never intentional.

Calls for Justice and Clarification

He reiterated his apology, expressing deep regret for any unintended offense, and earnestly pleaded for public forgiveness.

Additionally, Butt urged religious scholars, the Punjab government, and the Pakistan Army to reassess the PECA Act case filed against him, calling for a fair review and justice.

He also refuted allegations linked to Section 295, asserting that his vlog had been misrepresented by selectively removing the word “false,” which led to misinterpretation and legal repercussions.

A Final Plea for Mercy

Concluding his statement, Rajab Butt once again sought forgiveness from Allah, the Prophet (PBUH), and the global Muslim community, hoping for redemption and understanding in the wake of the controversy.
